What is HGH?

What is HGH?
Human growth hormones (HGH) are naturally occurring hormones in the body that encourage growth throughout the various body systems. Growth hormones are triggered by the pituitary gland found in the brain. The pituitary gland tells the hormones which parts of the body need to grow, and the hormones stimulate growth activity in the cells. HGH is sometimes introduced to the body artificially to enhance the health of people who have pituitary gland disorders, or other growth related problems.
It is illegal to take growth hormones without a prescription from a doctor. HGH is most commonly used to treat children with stunted growth resulted from pituitary gland disorders. When introduced to the body young, growth hormones can help children get back into a normal growing rate. HGH is also often used on elderly people who are suffering from gland dysfunctions. Growth hormones are the body’s natural way of building and strengthening itself, including the muscles. This is one of the reasons that athletes can be so eager to get their hands on growth hormones.
A Brief History of HGH Use
Ever since HGH has been available as a health additive, competitive athletes have been interested in using them to enhance their physical performance. Many professional sports associations have banned the use of growth hormones, prescribed or not. Since most doctors are less than willing to prescribe a banned substance to their athlete patients, athletes and coaches have been finding and using HGH illegally for years. Whenever an athlete gets caught, he is usually issued a sanction against him, and is often banned from playing the sport again.
Growth Hormones are administered by physician prescription only, because it isn’t healthy to have too much HGH in the body.Between the ages of 30 and 40, the body slowly begins to product less and less HGH every year. Older people can sometimes be prescribed to HGH supplements because they’re body just isn’t rebuilding and repairing itself as well as it once could. When young, healthy people are injecting themselves with growth hormones, they can end up having too much HGH in their bodies. This can lead to a condition called acromegaly, which causes tissues in the body (usually the jaw, tongue, hands and feet) to enlarge and distort. It isn’t a very common condition: Only approximately 6 of every 100,000 adults will ever get it. That number can decrease even further if people just stop improperly using HGH.
How Growth Hormones Work
Growth hormones can be inoculated into the body through orally taken a variety of dietary supplements (pills, shakes, powders, etc.), or through injections by needle. Both methods seem to be effective. Either way, the hormones eventually get absorbed into the body, and get working to improve cellular growth throughout the body.
The processes involved in growth hormones are very scientific and pretty tricky to understand. Basically, growth hormones go deep into the organelles, or separate cell structures in your cells, and activates the cell building ones, like the mitochondria. The mitochondria set into motion, moving essential nutrients in and out of the cell, so that they may build newer and stronger cells, keeping you healthy.

As mentioned before, growth hormones are natural. Without them, no one would ever grow or produce new cells. The use of additional growth hormones should never be taken lightly though. Excessive cell reproduction isn’t healthy. Many scientists and researcher are trying to link the use of growth hormones to eternal youth, with the idea that if you’re constantly producing healthy, strong cells, your body will never deteriorate. Supposedly the body will never deteriorate because by taking HGH, you’ll always have enough growth hormones to keep building healthy cells for your whole life. These are not true statements.
Final Word
Bodies aren’t meant to stay young forever. Body systems have time limits and expiration dates. Overly trying to stay young isn’t healthy, because everyone get old, and that is the natural way of things. It’s understandable for parents to want their child who isn’t growing properly to want to give their child a chance to live, and it makes sense for an old person to want to have a little more time in their life before they say goodbye. Growth hormones must be taken very carefully, and always with the aid and prescription of a doctor.
